Stork Club NYC. 1929-1965.
3 East 53rd Street. If you had to ask where it was, you couldn't get in.
This was Hemingway's hangout, Sinatra's second home, and where Winchell held court every night at Table 50. The Stork Club wasn't just exclusive — it invented exclusive. The gold chain at the entrance separated tourists from regulars. The Cub Room beyond that separated regulars from royalty.
Sherman Billingsley's dress code was simple: Look like you belong, or don't come at all.

So many designs out there nowadays look good but they've got no meaning. I saw this, did research, and realized I how insane the Stork Club was. What makes it even more special is there's nothing out there like it anymore.
